Welcome to Road and Trail, established in 2019 by James, a qualified bike mechanic and lifelong cyclist.

Road and Trail was born out of many years riding, fixing and custom building bikes. This developed into a business idea to do something different to your normal bike shop. To bring a more personal, one to one approach to bike repair and servicing.

From quick tune ups to a full strip down service, every job gets the same care and attention to detail. I treat every bike like it’s my own, because I know how much a smooth-shifting, quiet, perfectly tuned ride means.

Personal service – You deal directly with me, the mechanic working on your bike. No middlemen, no confusion.

Attention to detail – I pride myself on this. Every bike leaves the work stand riding as best it can.
